Breaking News: Real Channel is now available in Tatasky

"REAL" is the is the upcoming hindi general entertainment channel by zee group.
any one has any guess.... will it be available in Tata Sky ?

I am sorry to disappoint you all but REAL is not a ZEE channel but its a 50:50 JV of Alva Brothers of Miditech(Indion Idol was done by them) and Turner International. Alva Brotheres own Miditech and Time Warner owns Turner. In turn Rupert Murdoch Owns Time Warner and in turn Star/Sky has a a partial ownership in the channel.

So, REAL will be available on TS from the first day. I have worked with the guys from Turner(Jiggy George and team) and also with people from Miditech and they are too professional. They will make sure that Zee doesnot black out their channel because of rivalries with TS. Zee turner (and not Zee alone) is the distributor of the channel in India. Just as Star Den for the channels of Star and Fox International.

Hindi GEC with the Neo Indian (I think that means the new generation) in its target. Initially they are focussing on Two Reality Shows and to General entertainment shows. The reality show will have 12 people marooned on an island and to make their living as per the instructions of one person who will rule over them as king. the show is called Sarkar ka Raaj

I just saw a promo about "bharat ka sabse bada reality show" to be on REAL. Something like survivor. REAL channel appears to be interesting. I an intrigued as well :huh:

yes,maybe the name of Reality has now been changed to REAL and it might show programs dubbed from that channel in hindi.

Well its not the reality TV channel , it is a new general entertainment channels "Real" like Zee , Sony , Star , colors etc.

It is totally different from Reality TV.
