what the hell u talkin abt dude ?
hathway has one of the quickest installation that i have ever seen.
if u go to them today usually by 2rw (if its not a sunday) or by the 2nd day u r connected. im sayin this with experience... once while takin my bb connection initially and another time when i shifted my connection.

Thats good. But people have terrible things to say about hathway. For example they put their wires over trees and bring them into your house in any manner.... Plus they have port caps too..

dude how does it matter how does the ISP connect u. all u shld be concerend with is that u r connected with low downtime. and yeah only minus with hathway is that they block ports grrrr

Hi guysI called up the Airtel people for a new connection, but unfortunately they said that its not available in my area. Same was the case with Hathway people. Then I called up my cable provider & asked him whether he is providing cable internet. He came & met me & told me that he is providing connection. But it's a shared connection(LAN) . He is asking Rs 1300 as installation charges & Rs 1350/month for 256Kbps. He is using Zeenext, i believe. So what should I do according to you guys? Should I take a chance & go for this(as this is realistically the only option left apart from BSNL with 1 GB d/l limit)? Please help.

depends on these factors:1. Your needs2. How much moolah are you ready to shell out3. What people feel about his services i.e. what he offers and what YOU get4. Can you satisfy your thirst with a 1GB limit?

Hi guysFinally I got the broadband connection I was looking forward to. It is from ZeeNext. Got it on Friday. So far the connection has been good with almost no downtime. Will wait and watch what will happen. Thank you all for the suggestions provided.Cheers.
