Broadband in Saket,New Delhi

hey guys,I have recently moved to Saket,new Delhi and i am looking for a broadband connection. Which one do you suggest considering 1. i need an unlimited plan atleast 256kbps2. Cost effective3. i dont want ISP hasslesswhat are my options and which one do you suggest?

The first is the unit. They usually use Mb to describe the speed. Do you think if the speed can reach the theoretic max speed, you can download a song in MP3 format (about 4MB) in half a second? You are tricked. In computer, the size of the file is displayed in MB, which means MegaByte. While in broadband specification, speed is showed in Mb, which means Megabit. 1 MegaByte = 8 Megabit. So 8Mb per second means 1 MB per second.

if u are satisfied with 256kbps then airtel is the ISP to go for. CAUTION: u might be happy with 256kbps today but it may create problem in near future, as BB usage is bound to increase. ALso remember one thing, in 256kbps u will not be able to watch youtube videos without streaming.good luck!!

i would suggest mtnl's 512K UL plan. i have not faced any problems and the problems which i have faced so far are related to modem failure (i use their modem). the problems were rectified in a day or two.

from what I have experienced is that MTNL service depends on area to area. So ask your new neighbours about the service of MTNL in their area. If they are satisfied then chances are that you may be also. If u get positive feedback ,then MTNL is the ISP TO GO FOR.
