Broadband Recommendation

Hey guys,

I have been using Vodafone for the past 3 years and I think its time to change, constant port blocking, data throttling are among the few reasons but I'm not gonna get into that.

I was looking for a new ISP in my locality (Siliguri, West Bengal) and finally narrowed down my options to Wishnet and Alliance Broadband.

But now I'm super confused, both their websites offer various features but I don't know what to trust. Some of my acquaintances suggest Alliance while others say its download speeds are terrible. While some say Wishnet slows down some sites among other shady things.

I will usually use the internet for some light gaming (so a respectable ping will work) and download intensive tasks with some international servers and also a lot of streaming, from servers all around the world.
So data throttling, website or port blocking would a strict no-no for me.

So users of Wishnet or Allliance (or any other ISP who would like to help), I would be very pleased if you guys could help me in my dillema of -
What ISP to choose -
Wishnet or Alliance (or any other)?
