BSNL 3G: 3G Settings for Nokia N97

Hi all...I have purchased a Nokia N97 and trying to configure it for BSNL 3G. The settings sent by BSNL for Nokia N97 are not working properly and my cell is throwing error while trying to open any page: Web Page not availableThe same SIM is working fine for 3G in my Nokia N73.BSNL official told me to set Access Point Name (APN) as bsnlnet which I did for N73 and it is working well. I tried same for N97 but its not working. Then I called up BSNL customer care and they asked me send a message to 58355 "Nokia N97" for settings. The settings sent are of no use and BSNL officials are clue less.Can somebody plz help me out. RegardsMayank

try bsnlwap in the setting for default access point.worked fr me in my n97 wit bsnl wap.

n if it works then plz temme me how to connect d internet through my laptop using n97 i have tried on touch access but in the operator selection none of the settings worked.i have tried bsnl up west bsnl upeast n bsnl north.i live in roorkee near haridwar.

In one touch access settings go to manual settings fill up the APN, USER NAME and PASSWORD, by your reign.

'The same SIM is working fine for 3G in my Nokia N73'can u please advise me the settings.mine is an E63 and i believe that the settings will not be much different from the N73.thanks

nothing first follow simple steps
select network mode in umts not duel
and apn name is bsnlnet
remove ip address and also port form advance settings
thats all you will get lightning fast broadband enjoy dude
