BSNL 3G Service in Chandigarh and surrounding punjab

Hey Guys,I am going on a trip to India from USA and was just wondering about the BSNL coverage in Chandigarh for 3G services. Does anyone know if the whole chandigarh area is covered or show me a place where there is a map for that.Also what frequency the BSNL 3G run on, I am talking my iPhone and want to know if I can use the 3G services.Thanks for all your help

Dear Non Resident Indians welcom back to Bharat, Bsnl has very good coverage in Chandigarh Mohali and panchkula , even in Khrar signal reaches but outside , In Bharat Gov of india allocated 2.1Ghz or 2100Mhz band for 3G(GSM)

you can use Internet too on 3g, BSNL service is cheap, but remember there may be some reception problem inside the house or deep concrete building
