members/alto/Glad your problem is solved. No changes required for the present.Save present settings for future use. ( In modem option or screenshots or copy in a good old notebook ! )Watch performance for two or three days and give feedback about stable connection.

thanx to all members of this forum especially essbebe for helping me to solve the problem. Now getting a decent a speed & no problem of disconnection is seen as of now. SNR values and Line attenuation all are stable. Hope the problem does not come back.:):P:whistle:

Today I had five disconnections ! We are given DYNAMIC IP, and after a disconnection you will get a new IP.
check here.
What Is My IP Address? - Lookup IP, Hide IP, Change IP, Trace IP and more...
Para two : When you are using dialers/schedulers/ and Download Managers, must have option to reconnect and resume Download/s from websites in queue.

essbebe

im only using utorrent and no download manager......
i know we r given dynamic ip.. gets changed everytime (sometimes helps a lot in link-removed)

bt da question is still gettin disconnectin often
ya i use batch files to connect which r made by me only bt dont know how to redial???
or to connect again

i think me too facing the same problem esp at night...but since i am using dialer, it gets reconnected,,,but sometimes its of no use, if ur downloadin ferom link-removed etc. once connection lost, we would have to restart! and my connection gets lost at every 25-30 minute interval...plz help...one more thing..this wasnt the case when i had my old siemens modem..now using sterlite smartax mt882 , after earlier one got replaced ...and my modem is no longer 192.168.1.1 ....i think its somting like 117.....and i'm not able to log into the modem's site...help plz..

@hafissayed
check SNR & line attenuation values. Check all wires and junctions. I had problem in a junction.
Yes it is quite irritating when downloading frm link-removed and it gets disconnected. I gave it up.:mad::P
