Maybe it is a coincidence but just today my speed has been corrected to upto 2 mbps and so now I am getting speeds upto 220 kbps:thumbsup:. I stay at Ramanthapur in Hyderabad. What about you? And are you still getting speeds around 80 kbps? You also mentioned that you got 1.6mbps in speedtest. I never got it until today. So try downloading some direct links using download managers like "IDM - Internet Download Manager" and let me know how much speed you are getting.

Great thats a too good speed which is expected.Atlast some action from BSNL Folks :yahoo:
I will check the downloads tomo and post it over here.I am from RTC X Roads.

Message me your chat id ...

1. Download any file from Microsoft and report the speed here.2. Post your SNR and attenuation values. 3. Mention your modem - model and make.

i get speed upto 30 kbps from microsoft site. i have checked my broadband in bsnl office. they connected to their pc and made speedtest. it is showing 1.8mb, you can download at 227kbps. but if i connect it to my pc it and made speed test. it is showing 246kb. you can download at 30Kbps. it showed correct speed in bsnl office. but in my home it is not giving correct speed. i even checked my telephone line from a bsnl man. he came checked and told that there is no problem in line.my modem model is ADSL2+ CPE/IADmodel no: VAN1020-20 AN1020-20.please help.

is yur modem correctly sycned for the speed ! Plus post these SNR and attenuation values.

Is it 30 Kbps or KBps ?256 Kbps = 32 KBpsLooks like a line problem. Get your line checked by the line man. Ask him to remove joints and uninsulated parts from the line.

i hav done all the possible response to broadband. but its still not responding.my broadband speed is 2mbps = 256KBps. buyt i am getting speed of 30KBps. SNR (downstream) = 37.0 dBSNR (upstream) = 9.5dBAttentuation (downstream) = 7.5dBAttentuation (upstream) = 3.5dB

Your line condition is good. Ask them to refresh the port at exchange. There is nothing we could do. They need to fix it at their end.
