A written complaint with receipt to Nodal officer and Appellate authority may help. Address and phone no on the backside of your bill. Call the number and seek help.

@bhargavakabanetry connecting before 2 am. Sometimes I too face this problem of being unable to connect between 2 am and 8 am. But sometimes if I connect before 2 am, I stay connected and dont get disconnected. Try this and let me know if it works. You can schedule the connection to start at 1.45 am and then start your downloads at 2.30 am or 3 am. You can also try changing your system clock for maximum advantage when using utorrent scheduler. If this technique works, then try restarting the connection after 2 am (initially connected before 2 am). That works for me. Hope it may help you. Dont keep a lot for downloading when testing or else you may get billed for usage.

Thanks, but where im staying there is a power cut at exactly 2.5 daily its just for 1 or 2 min so its a bit hare for me to try it out.But thanks for the suggestion

If the power cut is only for 1-2 minutes then I think there shouldn't be any need to shut down computer (I am guessing you have a UPS) and the the connection will automatically redial when disconnected. The only problem might be whether you'll be able to connect to the internet or not. If you have UPS, try connecting the BSNL modem through UPS too....and let me know if it works

A man from bsnl came today, said they will check the broadband port in the office and if there is a prob there they will change it if there isnt they will then check the line. And since i use a laptop i dont have a ups.

Mention your modem model/make/number.
How do you connect ? Dialer mode or "Always On" mode.
If "Always On" check in WAN page Idle time etc.
