BSNL Broadband Frequent disconnection problem

Hi,

I m facing the problem of frequent disconnection.
Lan light & ADSL light goes off simultaneously.mostly it happens in morning.

This problem is not consistent, it goes automatically sometimes for a days & again comes for some days.

Another problem is many times both of light's are on ,but i couldn't surf.
Both of light just blinks for some intervals.

For both problems i have to reboot modem for several times.

Also there is a join in my cable.

I use

XP -sp2

Avira antivirus & comodo firewall

modem- D-Link GLB- 502T

You may check for frequent dsconnection/snow as adsl2+ mode cannot be selected now.( meant for high speed broadband ) INFO: ALL 4 DNS's of Bsnl are based in Delhi.Try to enter same pair of DNS. in modem lan card.or one BSNL and one OPEN DNS.

I dont' understand,what do u want to say about ADSL2+?& about DNS, I will make changes and will tell you the result.But does the "Adsl & Lan light light goes off" problem is related to the DNS?

Para two: ANY additional Adsl splitter needed for GLB502C ?
give present set up : Phone jn /phones /modem etc .
Do you have the user manual or installation CD ?

My Bsnl cable line is directly connected to the modem, there is no splitter in between.

then another cable is there from modem to my landline.

Also there is one joint in Bsnl cable coming from telephone pole to my home.

I have user manual.

Another thing i want to ask is weather these my speed results are good enough?
