I recently changed my Dataone plan from Home 1000 to Home Combo 1000 Unlimited.Earlier I used to get speeds of 1.5 mbps to around 2 mbps but after the shift I have never experienced even 1 mbps speed,not to talk of more.The BSNL website mentions speeds of 2 mbps for Home 1000 unlimited plan but customer care told me that they had not been conveyed this yet and that I was supposed to get 1 mbps for 15 GB and decrease later.But I have never experienced even 1 mbps yet after the plan change.Any one using this plan please discuss here how much speeds you are getting.Thanks

Im getting around 0.70 mbps download and 0.45 mbps upload speeds on average.Does increase in upload speed have any effect on internet surfing ?
Further if you look at the bsnl.in website we are supposed to get 2 mbps speed but customer care people here have no clue about this.
But since you being in Bangalore are also not getting 2 mbps yet,it seems all the speed upgradations on the BSNL site are only on paper yet.

All that glitters is not gold.... but the speed do fluctuates for me. I get good download speeds also on torrents.

R u insane?.....why dont you take 750UL plan & use 512kbps to the max......in just 6 hours download time 4mbps(8GB) would be gone...i think you are very much happy about that freeeeeeeeeeeee 400 voice calls.....i admit i'm one of the cause for FUP...but u peoples are the sole reason for these crappy shit plans...........

I am thinking of changing my plan either ULD 900 or Home 100 UL ... my 2-3 months usage has been well below 7-8 GB as i dont get free time to spend on internet as well i dont keep downloading everything ...i hope to get the promised speeds from BSNl

Different people use internet differently ... so they will rather think of themself of which BB plan suits them. Some keep downloading 24*7 and some are not that lucky.
