BSNL Broadband: link light yellow colour is blinking always

your DNS server is 192.168.1.1Change it to OpenDNS : 208.67.222.222 / 208.67.220.220OR set it to obtaain automaticallyThere is step by step tutorial with screenshots in a recent thread regarding how to set DNS settings
 
Thank you for your kind information , my first problem (PCI Modem) has been solved. But my 2nd problem was that -- it takes about more than 20 minutes (about 22 to 25 ) for the local area connection to be connected . Whenever I switch on my pc and modem , after starting my pc the local area connection takes such time to be connected. What should I do ? I am using "D-Link DFE-520TX 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet PCI Adapter".

I have Nokia siemense C2110 modem,every light of modem is on and steady,not bleeping,but still I can't access internet,in task bar Lan is connected and speed is 100.0 Mbps,and internet connection is also connected and speed is 2.0 Mbps, when I click on the broadband icon on desktop it shows "connecting through wan miniport(pppoe)" and after sometime it shows " error 678,the remote computer did not respond...." is it cable problem?how to solve?
 
go to the command prompt(start->run and type cmd) and type ipconfig and post screenshot of output. it maybe an ip address issue.. are you able to access 192.168.1.1 ??
