BSNL Broadband: problem regarding bsnl connection

actually i got 2 modem's...a type 1 and a type 2..i replaced the type 1 with type 2 recently..when i connect the type 1 modem it works fine,but when i connect type 2 it isn workin..

Whether it is typeI ( with lan and may be USb Port) or
Type II with Lan ports and wifi the settings are same.

but when i connect type 2 it isn workin..
Just confirm that you could set this modem Type II for LAN
( or Wireless mode if you need it ).

ya i could set it but the INET led isn blinkin(no connection)

i thought so..hey my speeds are ghettin capped in my old modem..i get a speed of just 30 in the night and a speed of 300 in the morninig
