BSNL Broadband: Siemens C2110 working on Laptop but not on desktop?

Noo....i have checked all ...its not working again ...only LAn is working...no internet.

are both machines able to access 192.168.1.1 ?

Hii...Yes both machines can access 192.168.1.1 ...lan is working fine...internet on main only....i uninstalled Anti virus also but no use.....but I noticed one thing when I was changing IP configuration or any setting.......when sytem restarted .....it get hang ....then i have to restart agin....

presuming you are in pppoe mode, check to see if any firewall is blocking..

HIi... i have cheked again .....192.168.1.1 is not accessing on both.. but LAN is working....

Please be specific. your system works one day.
next day it does not work.
One day 192.168.1.1 accessed Lan is ok
next day not working.
Very confusing to say the least.

Para two;
In a thread , not all read the posts from the beginning.
if you say "it'" does not work " will coolly skip the post and no response.
then you say LAn is working . where ,what no clear picture.
No response will be there.
Modem is giving trouble. etc .
And no link to the thread title and later posts.

Now if you cannot access 192.168.1.1 in both modems and "LAN" is working
be happy. !. Presume you can access Internet and surf all web sites in all "systems".

Read again the thread from the beginning for solutions.
RESET and start from beginning. !

hiii.....why after upgrading firmwares in BSNL modems ........seimens C2110 and Sterlite ......,net is working but not as before........means very slow speed......after few seconds line drops....wats the use of upgrading...................is there still any fault?

well it could have screwed up your modem , upgrading firmware doesnt always work well.. post your SNR
