Hi,
I am having a BSNL type II modem(Huawei- Quidway WA1003A). I have connected my PC to it using the USB port. I have configured the modem to autodial, so its in always connected mode. My issue is that I am not able to access the internet on my mobile/laptop which are connected through wifi. Here is the config:
PC:
IP:192.168.1.10
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway:192.168.1.1
Laptop:
IP:192.168.1.9
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway:192.168.1.1
Both my laptop and mobile are able to connect to the secured wifi using the key, but are unable to connect to the interent. I am also able to access 192.168.1.1 from both laptop and the desktop. The modem settings match with what bsnl had defined for WA-1003A ADSL MODEM MULTIUSER CONFIGURATION. I wanted to paste a link of calcutta bsnl website which has the settings, but the site din't allow me.(just to give u on idea of the actual settings).
Can anyone please help me to solve this issue. Many thanks!!

the issue is solved....all i had to do was enable DHCP in the modem config....anyone having the same issue can try that too...
