BSNL Broadband's new revolutionary (lol) broadband plans with minimum 2mbps speeds (lol)

My friend having BSNL connection. he confirmed from customer care Dept from 1 oct 1gb prefup you will get 2mbps after 1gb again 512kbps very poor strategic of BSNL it will not attract the new customers lol

is anyone else getting this ip range ??
61.0.xxx.xxx
if not then something is really getting changed because till now i have only seen 59.xx.xx.xx or 17x.xx.xx.xx range
and yes i am getting 93 kbps top speed on a 675 UL plan, lol

I hope that BSNL wont Fraud us with false advertisement of this 2Mbps minimum speed.

They cannot advertise it as minimum 2 Mbps bandwidth if they would be giving it for pre FUP which will only imply that the minimum speed would still be 512 Kbps rather than their said threshold.

I usually play online and i would more than appericiate this if it happens.

I wonder if what they are saying is true then will they also revise my 1445 UL to 4 Mbps unlimited after FUP(Hope they do it).

Knowing its BSNL i should probably keep my hopes low.

Confusion everywhere (None of the opinion of this image is mine)

The bigger question is, is bsnl equipped to deliver 2 mbps UL? I don't think so. As it their network is not in great shape.

Ravi Shankar Prasad is 61 year old. Modiji 64 year old. Arun Jaitely is 62 year old.

These Oldies don't understand internet Bandwidth. They haven't personally used the internet. They have social media accounts for PR campaign which are managed by their assistants and secretaries. Broadband in India emerged by the time these political leaders had already gone old. Do you expect them to understand the Broadband requirements of new generation?

Our telecom minister should not make fool of himself by boosting that 2 Mbps 1 GB FUP plans will redefine broadband in India.

I don't understand what is BSNL doing with its OFC network. They claim to have Lakhs of Km of OFC network. I don't know why they're not putting it to best use. Do they really have Such a large OFC network? Or is it just on papers while no work actually done on the ground?

BSNL ofc network is pretty large. Not large as either Reliance AFAIK. Issue is their gateways in most cities are congested.
