the 2 mbps upgrade by bsnl is to iron out issues before the prosed traii upgrade.

its still better than airtel 4g which resets to 128 kbps post fup which is costly.

What upgrade? It's only a recommendation and would take years to implement and also the 2 Mbps 1 GB crap is a trick to attract more customers but unfortunately or you could say fortunately everyone is very much aware of the FUP and hence the trick of bhai sahab nahi lagta would fail big time. If it were for experimental purposes then there would have been a 10 GB sort of FUP in place and not 1 GB crap.

sir my view is that if modi is serious about bringing back professionals from silicon valley then he will have to deliver speeds comparable to silicon valley in india.

lets give him some time. A child is born in 9 months , this child does not give birth again after 9 months does it ?

I just hope ACT or a similar kinda network covers PAN India forcing the govt. organisation to deliver the requisite speed.

Any one here getting 250 to 256 KB download speed with 845 unlimited plan? i am only getting 200 to 220 KB....I gave a complaint at bsnl to increase my downstream .....So from where will the change be made BSNL local telephone exchange or at bsnl itself?

Btw ...one valid question....

Do BSNL really have enough bandwidth/infra/capacity to deliver constant 2mbps to each and every subscriber? I mean hypothetical situation where all bsnl customers start using internet (read adsl) at tye same time. Will they be able to cater all with constant 2mbps?
