BSNL Broadband's new revolutionary (lol) broadband plans with minimum 2mbps speeds (lol)

Hello Guys,

After crossing 1gb, I got bsnl top-up page but I refused to opt (go to reduced speed) and it asked to reboot the modem. However, speed did not reduced. So far I have used 20 GBs (YES 20 GB!) at the speed of 2mpbs but still it has not dropped.

My connection plan is BB UL 675. My brother also has same connection and has used 4GB but still running at speed of 2mbps. :)

Hope this doesn't badly effect to billing of this month.

Either its a glitch in their servers or 2Mbps speed in unlimited.

I don't think its full unlimited because some have already reached limit. If there was no FUP then we wouldn't have got the top-up page either.

May be their server is not set correctly yet or they are assigning FUP to each customers as per their plan one by one. :D

Lol yeah that can be the case.. let's see till when we get 2 Mbps

ULD has FUP

UL will continue at 2 mbps without fup.

your plan is UL , so have fun.
 
BSNL has changed plans nationwide. I think their servers aren't tweaked properly for new plans. They will resolve this in coming days. I don't think they will charge anything for users getting 2 Mbps beyond FUP.
 
My 2Mbps cap was up almost 2 days ago and it reverted back to 512Kbps too. Now out of the blue the speed increased to 2Mbps. Should i be worried? WIll they be charging me for this?
 
Already lot of threads has popped up regarding this, do check out the other threads... If you are in ULD plan don't worry about it..
