just ask her once na...she apparently has sim cutter...
go to her and say shez beautiful and stuff and get your sim cut!! :P

Beautiful?? LOL!
I wouldn't be able to do that anyways as I already cut my Vodafone SIM. So can't cut it again, can I?

airtel is also cutting normal sims into micro sim

But I guess Airtel is activating iPhone plans on your current SIM if you cut it and use it. That is not the case with BSNL.

BSNL has better iPhone/ipad plans than other operators. The 999 unlimited 3G plan is a very good option. You don't even have to worry about your data usage when you use your iPhone as a hotspot.

I haven't heard of an iPhone plan, but only aware of BSNL's iPad plan... can iPad be used as hotspot?

also... Is this plan for ever? or has any validity (like they did for other users - Rs.4200 for 6 months unlimited)?

BSNL's ipad plan can be activated only on micros SIM. 999/-month for unlimited 3G. Speed capped at 1Mbps.

Whats the concept of micro SIM? is it only for Data connection? can micro SIM be used for Voice calls like regular mobile?

microSIM from what i have read is just a regular sim with a smaller plastic body. it retains the same metallic chip.

A Micro SIM is no different from a regular SIM in function. The difference is only in size. It is just a SIM card without all the excess plastic. The smaller sized sim gives device manufacturers more room inside for hardware.

hehe. good question :D i guess they never thought that mobiles would become sleek devices someday.
