BSNL EVDO in Bangalore

BSNL EVDO, i have got speeds varying from 1.1Mbps to as low as 20kbps constantly.Some areas, even if the signal strength is 2, speeds are in the region of 300-450kbps.But elsewhere, with the same 2 signal spread, speed hardly reached 60kbps.:huh:
THEY ROBBED ME OFF 1500 RS!!!after depositing the device they did not return the deposit and instead kept sending me bills,when I complained they said to pay bills of 3 months that I got even after submitting device and then they might THINK of my problem,my cousin has also lost another 1500 in same area and a friend has lost 700 rs on bsnl landline:madness:

The best person to contact regarding EVDO queries is Mr. Prashant who currently works in the Gandhinagar area. You can contact the Gandhinagar CSC and ask for him.

I called up Jayanagar (Bangalore) BSNL exchange today.. They say that they have temporarily stopped issuing new EVDO connections for another 1-3 months... 
I was planning to get EVDO , so went upto indiranagar bangalore BSNL office and came to know that it takes hardly 1 day to get your EVDO device . Few persons got the Devices right while i was there in the queue 
, so hopping to get one soon . will post more details once i get it . Before taking connection its better to findout if you have EVDO / CDMA signal , enquire and then apply . Thanks all for the info , guys keep updating with the latest news :dance:

I just called Prashanth to enquire about my BSNL EVDO application (I had sent an sms to 9448077777 as per instructions in an offer brochure).
Though he wan not able to help me as it was under different exchange, he spoke fabulously and one cannot believe he is a Government employee. He took time to explain properly and he was very helpful.
