bsnl fiber reset timings 11pm to 12-1 am , and 5- 6 ish am ?

i am seeing a pattern of frequent no internet access yellow exclamation mark , with pon light on, but no tel light . internet starts working only when tel light comes .and this no internet access comes around these timings at evening 6-7pm, 11 to 12 -1 am at midnight, then at morning 5-6 am , may be at afternoon too i sus .
is it because of modem getting hot , its 48-52c always but never got this problem before the speed upgrades in plans .
first the downtime, then upload speed bad (fixed now ) , and this frequent "no internet access with pon light on and tel light off.
whats happening with bsnl these days , i was so happy with them ,now they making me frustrating ..sighs
hows with you all people ?
 
It might just be a temporary thing. Either some maintenance or upgrades on their end. I too faced similar things very briefly as recently as a few days ago but not anymore.
 
oh hope its really temp things, i never faced such thing when i got it new , recently really a headache , if to be exact in 24 hours 3-4 hours is with no internet access .
btw portal bsnl bill payin site is aksing me to put otp suddenly , before it dint , it was straight log in . but nothing otp came to my registered mobile number . looks like bsnl is doing some serious changes in thier game ,hope they get wobble stable soon
 
@MEGAN which city are you in? I don't see anything to that effect here. It must be a local LCO doing upgrades or maintenance and does not occur at late night times across BSNL as a Co.
 
@MEGAN OTP is everywhere nowadays. It's better for security. Sometimes you have to request again for OTP. I haven't used the bill pay site recently but selfcare site also uses OTP and it's been there for some time.
 
thats the problem, there is no OTP request again feature in that website now lol , i searched from top to bottom haha ,selfcare site started using otp last year i guess , but portal site started to use it just yesterday , i go to that website frequently to watch about plans and stuffs for mobile.
@Chip ya i guess lco doing something , but at 12 am midnight ..then today again at morning same thing happend around 7-8am .will talk to lco about this pattern if it keeps continuing , for now they fixed the upload speed ,satisfied with it . this is the website "Authorize | BSNL Portal" otp thingy
 
my bad it was another number which never used for few months, so in doubt i recharged it, and got the otp in it and then changed to the present number now, all good , thank you for listening :)
