BSNL FTTH DNS PROBLEM

Anybody facing internet down issue in Pune region because mine alongside few more connections have connected to onu but internet is not working and says dns server isn't responding. Any help?

change dns in your onu or pc and check whether internet works.

Yes yesterday I was also facing intermittent connectivity issues, lights were all green but Amazon prime streaming was buffering a lot and website not opening (browser getting "stuck") - I am in Pune too.

Not sure if it is happening today also, so far browsing seems fine for past 1 hour for me.

@vishalrao yes in my case I was browsing on very slow speed then I restarted router and everything just stopped working.

I did not have any such DNS errors yesterday or today. I am using Google DNS in my router which is connected to the ONU (Non-Bridged).

It started working again they said the problem was with local ont.

Anybody noticed BSNL changed the dns servers. It's 61.1.1.1 and 61.0.2.2 for me now and the pings to these are really slow, like minimum 20 ms and 50ms respectively.

^ yes, but the resolution time for uncommon sites are not that good. For me, google.com resolves under 10ms, whereas some other uncommon sites were taking a really really long time.
