BSNL FTTH flyers sent by email to Bangalore Broadband Users

@madusudhan7I spoke to someone in aksh. He told me that as of now aksh is handling the ftth rollout in Jaipur, ajmer, gurgaon and faridabad. Will post if I find something more.

Thanks pal. I tried to check the same information from BSNL officials but either they didn't know or probably didn't want to reveal the Vendor in Bangalore :(

Bumping the thread to point out that the customer support seems quite good as of now. I had my first downtime half an hour ago, called the ftth guy and it was fixed in 15 minutes flat.

whats your location and plan?

Gurgaon. Forget the plan :PIt is 512 kbps unlimited . Upload speed is 4 mbps constant, I use it for uploads mainly.

Yeah , I've got iptv, dth clarity is better imo, however dth doesnt have time shift TV. As long as its free, I don't mind it :P

By technology - IPTV clarity is always better than DTH in countries where it's widely available, provided the SNR is good. Since your are on FTTH the SNR should be at it's best. It's just content delivery from the Vendor side that could be causing problems then but upgrading the technology, PQ or introducing new features like 'Time shift' etc is much easier on FFTH/Wired Broadband than DTH platform
