BSNL FTTH flyers sent by email to Bangalore Broadband Users

BSNL's top bosses are such loser's, they fail to understand the Market/Opportunity so miserably - such valuable resource/investments put to waste. Some one should sue BSNL for such a mess :([/QUOTE]

do you really believe that they don't know the huge opportunity ?. Private company pays the babus to kill bsnl so that they can make money

Just to update this thread.
I have applied the FTTH connection here 2 weeks ago. UDAAN PROJECT -- BSNL

BSNL official from my exchange called me and took all the detais and directed me to Go to Railwaypura exchnage which handles all the FTTH connection for EAST part of ahmedabad. went there and met Commercial officer. CO took my form and ID proof. and opened the DOT SOFT software to provision the new service. under the dot soft software he wasnt able to find my exchange under GPON enabled. so he made the call to dot soft guy and guy said he will update the database in a while and then you will be able to see all the updated exchange which are GPON enabled in ahmedabad.

waited for half an hour. called again to confirm. Guy said update wil take some time. so CO told me to come on monday and pay the Installation charges. which is 3500/- including Modem.

I will update it this thread later.

100mbps plan for 84k... who on earth would pay so high?
There will possibility to have that connection from BSNL to BSNL(among numbers of exchange not between) and to numbers of connection.
They normally keep this kind of tariff for customers. So, customers can avail them but these kind of tariffs remain as it like spiral coiled wire scraps lay at the entrance of each BSNL exchange.

@cisco_techAh, nice :D Who is handling the fibre roll out there ? And what plan do you intend to take ?

Are you taking connection for your home?
FTTH in 3k(1 mbps) for one month. Isn't it costly?

Don't forget to upload performance of BSNL FTTH.
