I have a static ip address which i wanted to use it to access my Software databse remotely (MySql databse). I tried port fowarding but it didnt work. In port checker app, it shows port is closed. I contacted BSNL requesting to open the port but they said all your ports are open. Configure port fowarding properly,

My configuration as follows,
Digisol FTTH XPON ONU - DG-GR1321
Router - TP-Link Archer Ax 72

I have connected Digisol modem LAN Port to TPLink WAN Port via LAN cable and tried port fowardng but it didnt work. From TP Link LAN Port, Ihave connected it to my Server PC.

Please guide me in detail how to port forward because im not good at networking.

Thanks in advance.

Not the exact answer you are looking for, but you could leverage tools like Tailscale or ZeroTier to access your server PC remotely just like you'd access a local device. It's really easy to setup too.

It makes everything very streamlined, secure by default and you don't have to bother about static IP and things like that.

I am with @MrGordon in this using a VPN is much better than opening ports and getting static IP if you want full blown customisation u can even self host wireguard vpn tooo

+ It's better for opsec and will keep you from getting more headache
