Hi,

I want to share a tip with those users with FUP. You may all know this, but just sharing , some one might find it useful. Well if you are on a FUP plan say , 1425 plan which gives you 20 GB of high speed after that FUP kicks in. Use till 19.9 gb around that range, switch of the modem, and turn it on again, so that your ip will renew. After that connecting it again, YOU WILL STILL GET HIGH SPEED FOR NEXT 24 hrs, if you dont disconnect/switch off the connection. This will work for 24 hrs only because Bsnl has a 24 hr ip renewal policy. With a 4mbps plan you could download upto 38 gb in single day after crossing the FUP cap. Works for 8gb FUP plans also.

For this to work we need a stable connection, and also for best results configure the modem to work in PPOE mode rathen than bridge mode with connection set to always on. Hope this helps somebody !!

Nice share. BSNL let a similar loop hole exist in Night Unlimited for a long time before they fixed it.

Nice but right now i am lucky

Using BB Home Combo ULD 800...Finished my 6GB quota in 3 days beginning of the month but for past two days i am getting 1mbps instead of 512kbps :D :D :D

I am predicting the future because it is going to happen. I can already see complaints on the forum from people whose accounts were charged these upgrades and they would have no idea who did it on their accounts.

Anyone who has used this feature... Can you confirm if it requires some kind of authorization through mobile or anything else? Or is it like the first version of Airtel's SmartBytes where anyone on the network can bump your connection with additional packages?

We are safe as long BSNL customer care do not get sales target like Airtel. They used to activate offers on my mobile without permission. But yes, it was a few years back.
