@orrville SN and MAC are completely different. If your ONT is loosing connection and red light keeps blinking, even though its in bridge mode, then OLT is blocking your ONT SN. But in my case there is no red light blinking. PON is totally OFF or green and blinking. If there is a way to change...

Try this for telnet:
user: root
pass: Zxic521 (or) Pon521 (or) Zte521

Tried all those, none of them work

unscrew your modem, see what chipset it has, then go to http://www.chinadsl.net (use google translate) and search about your chipset in that website.
That's how I got telnet details my generic modem (ZTE zx279110a)

some defaults for bsnl firmwares. for digilink GR1321, latest firmware has admin/stdONU101.

@hemant yes, one of them works, but sh command is not available after login.
