BSNL International Roaming & Charges

Does anyone know whether BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) provide international roaming to Foreign Countries?
If so, what are the charges, and how to get it activated?

Please let me know since i need information to countries in Gulf, North America and South East Asia.

Usually, the airtel or jio providers activate roaming for a particular charge, and also automatically. Isn't it the same for BSNL?

I have never seen anyone using BSNL outside India.

It's better and cheaper to a get a prepaid card from the country you are travelling than using an international plan. A plan for incoming calls only is good enough if one really requires it.
Most companies nowadays that want their employees to travel internationaly provide an IP-phone service which can work on any internet connection.

Thanks. Maybe, i should call the customer care @ 1503 and get details about roaming. I mean, i need these SIMs to work abroad at least to get SMS and Miscalls.

I have experience with Airtel, where in, everytime i reach a foreign country (from India), there was activation charge of around 99 rupees. But, haven't experienced such with BSNL back before.

Yes, i know that world has moved ahead in this case. But, i don't know how i can keep the number active if i stay for longer time (more than 3 months) abroad.
