Bsnl Internet In Will(tarang) Service - Information Needed

Probably itstime for me top step in and tie up a lot of loose ends. I am a user of the tarang internet connection for about a year. Its satisfactory for only normal browsing. herculaen downloads are not recommended and at the same time upload is very VERY slow. Any more info you need dont hesitate to ask as my bro is a sub div off in bsnl and i have all the info on this topic.

Could you please inform me whether they're really giving Rs. 250 p.m. unlimited access right now? A friend of mine does have a FWT WLL connection with surfing facility (supposedly 30p./min, 100kbps+). Trouble is, the local exchange is avoiding the unlimited scheme! They are telling something about lack of supply of equipments! Are they talking about BSNL ICC (Internet Calling Card)? He isn't interested in any further investment? Why should he? Isn't "unlimited" merely a contract between the user and BSNL? What has that got to do with any "equipments"? He does have a working connection, isn't it?Will you please clarify?Thanks.:wall:

When they say 250 per month, it means 250 per month flat for internet access.....there are phone charges. there is no relation between your fwt and your local exchange....its directly connected to the head of your secondary switching area......which is the head of your SSA you can find at your local exchange,....probably the people at the exchange dont know what you are talking about....you better find out from the SSA headquarters.

I have been Using .. The Unlimited Plan of Bsnl Taraang. .. I say .. its the exceelllent ... in Places .. Wher There iss NO Broad Band ...

The Cost I Had To Pay
While Aplying for a new Phone ..I paid 500
Then The first bill it came for me around 400 and in the second bill around 1200
after that .. i regularly pay 250 + 220 (Phone Rent 2 Months ) so for me it costs 360 Per month .. and itz Truly Unlimited .. i Use it .. for almost ..24 hours a Month ... Keep on Downloading ..it never stops .. and no extra bills ...



This is the maximum speed i get at times using idm ... while downloading .. so enjoy ...

I speed tester it Show's 117 download and 43 uploadBut internet through the will phone has worst speed even gmail takes 2 to 3 :wall:min to open.If u r in rural area No way u must go for it,,,

I also have the bsnl wll but i use it only for accesing internet.You get speed of around 37kbps using idm.I'm also use idm for downloading but i don't get speeds like you get...at the most i get around 18 kbps but normally it's around 8kbps:wall::frown:.So i'm not satisfied with the speed. Can you pls tell me how i can increase the speed of my internet. Please help me anyone...........
