I recently upgraded my account from Home 250 to Night Unlimited. Earlier my ip used to start with 59 (eg 59.XX.XXX.XXX) but after upgrading it it starts like (117.XX.XXX.XX) and so i am not able to use my office id at home which used to starts with 59...please help me...I am sick of this port binding shit...thnx in advance:yahoo:

Port binding is for our own protection. It is impossible to hack into another account and use net at his expense. Home plans are not allowed in your office. How did you manage that ?
I have 117.xxx.xxx.xxx IP, I can use net without any problem. You can try a parallel connection for the same no or a splitter if both are near. It is port binding, not number binding, not sure how it will work.

u have been shifted to New Server that is 59 works on NIB-1 and 117 works on NIB-2

I mean earlier i used my office dataone login id at home as my home plan had only 1 gb limit but now sice my ip starts with 117 and my office id starts from 59 i cant use it at my home...is there any solution to this???can i ask bsnl staff to shift me to NIB-1 again???

nope , you couldnt do that.. i hope you realize that your not "supposed" to use your office id at home and vice versa..
some how before the plan change your home line (and may be office line too ) was not provisioned for port binding ( this has been ignored for old connections ).Because of plan change now your line is provisioned for port binding as well as your connection has been shifted to different server too so now you will never get connection for 59.X.X.X to 117.X.X.X. or 117.X.X.X to 59.X.X.X
