BSNL sent Lok Adalat legal notice for unpaid bill! What to do?

@Zuke That did happen to me too. During 2019 ig i was done with my local isp so approached BSNL because they said Railwire is LCO based and we all have used railwire/railtel at stations so i thought of giving them a try.

They were about 900meters away from me and told me to bear all the expense of fiber since govt. allows only 150-200meters per user. I was ready for that investment too.
But when i asked what if there's a fiber cut or some damage will they fix and maintain it. They straight away told me No that is your responsibility, Like how am i supposed wander on streets to check for fiber damage or even hire a splicing technician to fix if something happens.

@TheNuttyNet In my case, RailWire was quite far from here as well. The LCO works for both companies here, so that was probably how they suggested me RW. Anyway, the LCO here is quite good in fixing cable cuts. There are a lot of issues with cable cuts in railway line though, which is something RailWire people are supposed to fix.

Even my LCO advised me to opt for Railwire or his Private LAN internet service (Non-Fiber).
The remaining BSNL Employees have "literally" raised their hands.
The entire BSNL Fiber FTTH appears to be in the hands of local LCOs. They are trying to keep the service alive, but that's it.
There's no talk about ANY improvement, reducing latency, or addressing Routing issues.
The sheer ignorance, arrogance, and incompetence of the BSNL Employees is shocking.
BSNL has the MOST REACH across India, and its ground-level Employees just don't care even though they make WAY MORE money in Guaranteed Salaries.
PPoE RJ45 Internet sounds like a good idea as it eliminates the need to own and operate an ONT/ONU. Even the plans are competitive.
