still 34mbps is theoretically impossible on ADSL so this just confirms the fact that speed test results are not reliable all the times.

he cant upload a screenshot to speedtest ! so it is not photoshop image !!

i know that is why i never said anything about a photoshop image.

as for the anziclone signature showing 4816kbps i will once again repeat myself.its the actual download speed which matters & your portal entries will show what actual speeds are you getting.for 4816kbps you must have some entries like 1083600KB for 30 min durations.till now best i have seen is onlytest's entry of 525054KB in his above post for 30min which is around 2.28mbps.

^To see that you have to download large files which need 30 minutes at least to get downloaded.Anyway anyone to beat my upload speed? and total traffic?:P

@whitestaram also not saying about 34Mbps on ADSL line. am talking about 500KBps download speed on torrents /Internet Download Manager

if you are not downloading such large files what is the use of 4mbps.

the point is if someone gets 500KBps for a few seconds(i know some users who get 500KBps for a few seconds) can he claim a 4mbps speeds.if a person is downloading with such speeds his entries in portal will show it just like mrbgupta who have posted his portal entries which clearly shows he is getting upload speeds of 75-90KBps.

So you have to download 500 mb files to prove that you are having 4 mbps? :hysterical:To me more download speed means I can save time while downloading !

So you have to download 500 mb files to prove that you are having 4 mbps?
any dvd rip movie size---- 700-1400MB
size of any linux distro---- 700MB-4GB
size of 1 TV episode------ 350MB
size of a HD movie------- 9GB
size of 1 HD TV episode--- 1.2GB
size of DVD releases------ 4.5GB
i don't see any person downloading anything less than 1 GB in night free time especially with 4mbps in which you can download 900MB in 30 minutes.if a person try to download even 1 GB with 4mbps one of his portal entry of 30 min will show ~900MB as data downloaded whether using torrents or download manager or both.

surely mrbgupta you don't meant to say that a person should use 4mbps to download windows updates:whistle:

you didn't get my point.

you didn't get my point.
that was more of a joke but on a serious note i did get your point.i understands your concept of time saving but we are talking about 30 min duration entries & with 4mbps one can download 900MB in 30 minutes.my point is anyone will surely find something greater than 900MB to download so that at least one of their entry show data download as according to 4mbps speed.when you said that one must download 500MB files to prove 4mbps it seems that you misunderstood my point.one can put 4-5 700MB movie torrents of latest movies or some linux distro & go to sleep & his entries will show data transfer of 900MB in 30 min duration entries.also as far as i know downloading movies/TV series through torrents is how almost all bsnl users use their night free time.

My point was spending 30-40 minutes just to know the speed but it's not conclusive.Still there are other factors which can't be overcome though you are getting say 4 mbps.

My point was spending 30-40 minutes just to know the speed
i am not sure & if i am getting it wrong then please correct me.as i understands you are saying that one should spend 30-40 min but that is not necessary at all.my own statement---
one can put 4-5 700MB movie torrents of latest movies or some linux distro & go to sleep
if a person is using night free time then obviously he will use it to download 1GB or more at some times in a month if not always.portal entries will be recorded by bsnl so it is not like i am suggesting someone to actually wake up for 30-40 min at 3AM to download big files.
