BSNL to hike landline, broadband rentals

We don't have alliance in our area, but as per user reviews, it seems that Siti is a much stable and "cleaner" connection than Alliance. Alliance is notorious of injecting third party banners in browsers ultimately leading to malware/ spyware infection.
Moreover, Siti comes from ZEE Telefilms Ltd, so it carries a bit of reputation with it and also provides peering for torrents, the max download speed I got in torrents was 11.5Mbps, the average hovering about 8-10 Mbps
Also the bandwidth of 1mbps is doubled after 1 AM (even though not officially mentioned on their website)

Latency is BSNL's biggest issue.
At times I get 600ms+ to Indian servers.
Their routing is all messed up
 
No hike this month. BTW I thought they gave a small discount for online payments?
