What are they even trying, couldn't even launch 4G properly. It's 2025 and even Vi has 5G. BSNL should just give up at this point and govt should stop dumping taxpayer's money in this company.

What are they even trying, couldn't even launch 4G properly.

BSNL employees had once written a letter to the union communications minister, and it was in the news. Excerpt from the news:

BSNL EU said that the government's decision not to allow BSNL to upgrade its existing 3G BTSs into 4G BTSs, through software upgradation as well as barring the public sector firm from procuring 4G equipment from global vendors has handicapped the company.

"BSNL is barred from procuring standard 4G equipment from global vendors such as Nokia, Ericsson and Samsung, at par with Reliance Jio and Airtel. Instead, BSNL is compelled to procure its 4G equipment only from indigenous equipment manufacturers, which has greatly delayed BSNL's 4G, as well as 5G service launchings," the letter said.

Further to the above..

I do not think it is possible that nobody at BSNL remembered to bill Jio. I won't even ask you if you think so. Nobody in the right mind will forget to bill for over 10 years and nobody with a functional mind will think there might be a remote possibility of that having occurred. BSNL is state-owned, and the bill not presented is from May 2014.

I will end this here and not engage in this anymore so that things do not heat up in pursuit of upholding the obvious.
