Your stats seem OK. Now, if your snr value suddenly changes then there is a problem with the line. Next thing is to get all the cable joints looked at. Then look at the cable box. Sometimes, a loose contact develops and you face random disconnections. If they're all OK, then look at buying a new modem.

Do you mean that a loose connection makes the modem re-boot?
 
No. A loose connection = Random disconnections.
Investigate all options before spending money on a new modem
