Business Plan 3300 redesigned for Kolkata Subscribers

To get a business plan you just need a trade licence (how much it may cost ? ). what else?

Isn't business plan open to home users also? :ashamed: I read somewhere like that.

I just checked out the calcutta telephones website. (not to validate this)There are only two unlmited business plans available and they are only 256kbps & 512 kbps(no additonal bandwidth)i.e 256kbps@3300/-pm 512kbps@6000/-pm No upto 2Mbps or 8Mbps available..So far no ISP in India can match BSNl in broadbandNow this offer of 15000/- per year and upto 8Mbps (equals 1250/-pm) is an offer that no ISP in india can dream until some more years.What other ISPs can do is, rent a small (300-400 sq.ft) space in every locality, take up 2 or 3 connections under this plan at each place, and redistribute to their present customers,This way they will save half of their money.

Please note that it is clearly stated that the 8 Mbps speed is "up to BSNL nodes".... after that it is most probably only 256 Kbps

Now i am thinking on the same line, perhaps I am mistaken.. this is not a existing plan either they upgrade existing Business ULRs 3300/ which has the speed of 256 kbps only or some mistake in the advertisement. However even in hindi advertisement same unlimited is repeated..see here




But Business UL6000 has only upto 512kbps
What are they up to..
