ok finally managed to get through their customer care.

the guy admitted they did not get the reduced price list in time.

they in fact were charged the same on their own purchase.

and they are working on fixing the prices on their site. and they would refund me back the money.

duh. let's see how many days and reminders it take for them to refund me back the money they owe me now!

old stock? dude its the new fresh stock because the MRP on the item is the new one :)

also from what i see they do not keep any stocks. they took 10 days to deliver my product. whenever i called them up, i got to hear that they are still in the process of getting the stuff from steelseries so that they can send my product to me!

i guess they order the stuff we order from them and then they courier it to us. :D they do not keep any inventory.

Does a mousepad really serve any purpose ? I haven't been using one since months and I haven't had any problems . In case of the ball mice it was needed to provide traction to the tracking ball but with laser mice , whats the need :/

@admin just do me a favour ... make a thread sticky...i'll put down all the contacts where you can get this kinda related gaming stuff at nice prices without a hassle and new @manu1991 yes it does server a big purpose specially when you game....

well my problem is that i am stuck with a plastic table with a not so smooth surface right now.

ignore the junk around. i do not let anyone touch my desktop. so it remains dirty most of the times.

my older table had sunmica surface. mouse worked on it fine.

by the way, this mouse pad is pretty decent. not for 1249 though. 799 is a decent price for it.

hoping to get a refund in the near future. though i am not very optimistic about it.

@admin dude do you play and videogames ? and please will you make a sticky thread FFS? @off topic the mousemat is pretty good it's almost as thick as the qck heavy but only smaller in size....steel series is a legendary company which manufactures gaming perhipirals and their mouse pads are one of the best... even better than Razer etc... but what amazes me is their mice.... i am myself planning to get a steel series kinzu v2 for 1.75k from lajpat nagar for my birthday... btw i have a intelli 3.0 to sell anyone interested? i have got the boxing and all, but not warranty although its hardly used you can see that

Hmm... Ripped in the true sense. The buggers need to be threatened and do not settle for any kind of 'coupons' etc. I usually buy such stuff from eBay due to the price advantage and coupons available. This particular one for instance is available for 745 on using a 15% off discount (799 + 75 shipping - 15%)

hehe. i made a mistake. i can only hope to get the refund in the near future. this post would remain a document of my experience dealing with them.

another update... no refund. tried calling their customer care. no one picked up the phone. tried contacting them through facebook and twitter. not much of a help. would try calling them again. emails to their customer care email id? never get a reply/response.

hehe. well. i made a mistake. indiatimes had the same product at the right price. i should have ordered it through them.
