ok managed to get through to customer care today. they say i would get the refund within 24 hours. i am doubtful but this is SOME progress

August 30 today. Still no refunds. I have mailed their customer care. I would call back later today or probably tomorrow.

heh i know they are pretty close to my place. i just want to see how the experience goes in getting my refund back. it has not been going on well. the last time i called up the guy said that i can also pick to order an item of that value from their site. maybe i would use that method to get my refund. of course there is no guarantee that would work out well.

needed to update this thread. i received the refund a couple of days ago. took a lot of time and phone calls. but it worked in the end.
