Can I purchase a new VC alone?

Hi, I have 3-4 Dish TV STBs spare lying around as I kept upgrading when older STBs got slow and when I got 2 new HD STBs. So I was wondering if I can purchase just a VC from DishTV and use the old STBs? Anyone ever done that? Reason I want to do this is that I want to add all my STBs into a multi-room connection and Dish is now not allowing past subscribers to add to multi-room. They permit this only with new connections. Thanks.

For the benefit of others, apparently this is possible at a cost of Rs. 400. I got a call from DishTV yesterday when I requested to buy new VC from them and they then agreed to merge all my home connections into one multi-room connection. I have been trying this for about 4-6 months now and they had not agreed, but surprisingly it finally worked out for me. Happy for now.

Yes Its possible to get new VC alone at an extra payment of Rs.400. Its Good to see they have converted your all connection in multiroom.
