On 3G with actvivated 2G u will get awesome ping but no download speed but ur upload speed will be in. 400 KB yes kilobytes per second
Can i use 2G pack under 3G speed?

If Iam not mistaken when you have a existing 2G pack, recharging 3G pack like rs 8 plan will be rejected by the system.last week I had like 300 mb left in a 2G pack and downloaded 2 tv serials from mediafire (140+140 mb) during the night at 140 kBps or so speed. i slept off.when I got up and checked ..download was ok but my main balance Rs 137 gone....................:mellow:

Download is not always 400 KBps its betw 2 to 5 pm , 7 to 9 pm

It is still possible only if you are using an android phone. I have been using this ROM on my Galaxy note and there is an option to uncap 3G speed under developers tools.

If I am not wrong its a build.prop mod so it can be done on any rooted android phone.

^^ WHAT? are you sure it works? I have a note too and ill install that ROM if that works.

yes it does even when you restart your phone...though fair warning that rom is too buggy...I m going to PM the developer about what he edited in build.prop..So maybe we can be able to do it in much stable GB too...

I cant believe this! ROMs built specifically for fiddling with speeds? When it was posted i thought it cud be just a coincidental thing. I still need confirmation from u guys....is it true? I mean what has a ROM got to do with Speeds?
