Can Jio add Junction/Distribution Box later after their cabling is done?

Jio team called me yesterday and told me (again) that JioFiber should be available here in 4 to 5 months.

Apart from that, I noticed that they have left the cable like this. So, could this be because they might provide connection here or some other reason? It is not in a loop neither long enough, so I am not sure. 😕

P. S. Sorry for the potato image quality, had to zoom a lot. 😂

@Xposed I asked numerous times but they keep telling me to wait for four to five months.

I'll call their executive again once their box is live. 🤔 I still doubt that they will provide me connection.

By the way, I am really curious to know who will take connection from that box. 😂

Fiber optic cable is very costly and one would not like to cut into pieces to place boxes on each pole in the main run. In the main run, boxes are placed whereever the standard drum length of cable ends. From this box, cables are run to each box on each pole depending on demand for connections. This helps to reclaim cable if required and also help remote monitoring of boxes to identify fault areas. The whole process takes a few months and patience is the only option. They will be equally interested in giving you the connection and earn revenues for the project.

Further, this method of cabling will result less joints to far end connection and better signal. From a single exchange, they can cover a larger area, before the signal becomes too weak as no intermediate signal amplifiers needing power supply are deployed, which improved reliability.
