I bought transcend SATA USB 2.0 75GB disk. About 4K rupees. Cheaper one was Techmatrix same config about 3K rupees. both are good.

well I too should go for the transcend brand name has quality I don't mind paying a bit extra

when it comes to hard disk, my first choice is western digital :thumb:

If you tell us your budget, we can help you better. I preder Seagate and Western Digital external drives.What ever outer casings you have, make sure you dont sign your death warrant by getting a Samsung HDD inside :iomg:

the last time i checked you could buy a 160GB external hdd for around 4K (the one that does not require any external power source). or a 500GB for around 5K for the version that requires a power source.
