Can we do some setting so that our Modem Disconnects & connect Automatically AT 2 AM

Hi,I have some doubt regarding Home 500 Night free plan.Can we do some setting change in our modem so that our modem automatically disconnect & again connect around 2 AM.Thanks

Can we do some setting change in our modem
1.Not usually done.
2.(a)In this page see on top.
In SEARCH type schedulers for old threads.
(b) see the sticky thread on top .
3. Usually the modem is started around 0205
and switched off around 0755 to avoid free
usage being counted.
4. Imran's Broadband Helper is one scheduler.
5. Always mention modem/router model , when
posting any query here.

You can do that simply by RASDIAL command, if you use PPPOE connection.

Follow the steps below :

1. Open NOTEPAD
Type the following

rasdial connection_name username password

Instead of connection_name, type your dial up name.
Replace the username and password with ur username and password.
While saving, name the file as connect.bat

2. Open one more new Notepad
Type the following

rasdial connection_name /DISCONNECT

Instead of connection_name, type your dial up name.
While saving, name the file as disconnect.bat


3. Then, open Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Scheduled Tasks

Then Add a scheduled task
Select Next
Browse and open the connect.bat file and set the time for which the internet is to be connected

Follow the same for scheduling the task of disconnection using disconnect.bat file.

User jyotikumarIs your connection configured as Bridge mode or PPPoE? Look into the modem and tell us.Yes it is possbile to do what you require. I do it and so do many others here.

Also I went to IMRAN website but there is no link to download the application which he developed.Can anyone give me link for IMRAN application.My MODEM is Nokia Siemens Network Type 4 with Wifi.Thanks
