Cannot access 192.168.1.1 DNA-A211-I modem page.

recently my faulty bsnl modem Nokia Siemens SL2_141 was replaced by DNA-A211-I model.. but now the problem is that i cannot access DNA using 192.168.1.1. Also the modem Local Area Connection shows Limited or No Connectivity. pinging shows the request being timed out. plz help:iomg:. previously i cud access the nokia modem using 192.168.1.1. i'm still using the optical fibre from the previous modem.

1.Check ipconfig /all to get default address for modem.

RESET the unit to factory settings , by accessing the reset access point in the REAR
or base bottom right of unit ( small round Hole) with a Ball pen refill for about 20 to 30 seconds.

A software upgrade is also possible, which do not attempt now. Or ask BSNL JTO
to do it. details given in above link, I think.

Dear Sir,
Your 2nd trick worked like a magic. Thank You sir a lot... I was under constant fear of losing my data usage from the wireless. Now i can log onto 192.168.1.1 and disable wireless and surf safely. Thanks a lot, again. I didn't do nothing from your first post... i just changed the network TCP\IP properties and it worked like magic!!
THE PROBLEM IS SOLVED.
