cannot open any website

i m using bsnl broadband home 750 planwhen i start downloading any video in particularly i got following error message"An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.this normally results if peer application on remote host is suddenly stopped,the host is rebooted,or the remote host used a 'hard closed' " after that,download stops & i cannot use internet ,cannot open any websitein the task bar i can see two monitor symbol with upper one is black. after disconnecting the connection i cannot reconnect until i restart the pc.i am using Internet Download Manger Ver. 6.11 for downloadingsame thing had happened in the past but got solved automaticallybsnl officers keep on telling that as your adsl light in the modem is stable there is no problem from our sidei am using ESET NOD32 5.0.93.0 antivirusi have formatted system twice in a week but problem is still thereplease help me out,as bsnl officers are reluctant to come out of their ac office.thank you in advance

I had the same kind of problem last week and my net was down for 3 days last week on modem ADSL link was there but no net.. Line man visited 2 times no solution.. Got tech team number and the guy was very helpful to resolve the issue My ADSL MODEM was configured on always on mode so he is not able to Identify the problem.. After spending an hour on telephone he told me to configure on bridge mode.. After configuration created a dial up and while connecting it gives error 651 (i guess) which he told is problem in port from his end. He told he will do setting and ADSL link will disconnect for some time. After few mints tried to connect and it worked so please try in bridge mode and give error details to themBut the problem is now configuring always on modern but Internet is working under bridge mode
