cannot open some sites

i cannot open some sites today althought till yesterday they were gattin opened some of the sites are bittorrent, torrentfinder (all torrent sites), youtube etc please help

I'm facing same problem as your's .. till yesterday everything was finebut today im unable to browse most of the sites and the speed is really slow, it takes forever to open IBF too :wall:

BSNL guys keep on doing some maintainance work...might be because of that or some some technical issue.

Start/Network/Local Area Network/ Properties TCP/IP Properties check :Assign IP address automatically ( if some entries are there note it down , if any problem to restore )In DNS columns enter open DNS

cheers mate :yahoo: this is first thing which worked 4 me but in win vista there r 2 TCP/IP one is 6 another is 4.. so this open dns worked on ip4...

now I gotta sort that wirless thingy which dont work for tho i have already done all the steps you have mentioned in my thread

Please open a new thread mentioning the Modem &/wifirouter model. Mention Vista.
Sometimes we have to check up compatibility with Vista in the company's web site.
Update patches to Vista may be available for most models.
