I am not exactly sure which part of the flow they are trying to patent. Unless they have come up with some completely new technology, my best bets are ad hoc wifi, multi cast over WiFi, or worst case GPS + internet (wifi/GPRS/3G etc)
Their website says coming soon for both Android and iPhone. Neither of them seems to be available now and all they have is a register for early preview kinda thing. Even that works only when you invite a lot of other folks
your invite status depends upon how many people you manage to invite. i always think of it as a scam. i am not sure if they bother to track individual referrals. it's not like that users have access to that data.
Hello Everyone,I'm one of the founders and CEO of CardFlick. Let me answer your questions.1. Android version.Yes we will have an Android version for sure. In fact I have a meeting today to go over the details with our 2 Android devs.2. Beta Invite ProcessWe track everyone you sign up. Our thinking is the most vocal and active users will be the best beta testers. Once you have signed up, you can return to your invite url and see your stats.Your rank is based on how early you signed up and how many people signed up through your link.3. The TechThe card sharing tech works over bluetooth, 3g, and wifi. It's cross platform. That's about all I can say right now. ;-)4. We are scared of robots. We are a people company. I do my best to reach out and answer all questions and so does the rest of our staff. We of course love Android itself.
