Season 3 done. Getting a bit bored now. I guess mostly because I had seen pretty much all the episodes of S03 on Star World few years ago.

Anyways... 99% of episodes till now goes something like this...

Castle is at home. There is chitchat going around with Alexis and Mom.
Someone gets murdered.
Castle gets a call.
Castle brings coffee to Kate.
They go to crime scene.
Castle makes up a fictional story about the crime.
They find an obvious target. Brings him to the interrogation room.
The accused is not the killer.
They are pointed to some more potential killers.
Everyone has an alibi.
During this period, the actual killer is also interacted with but there are no hints at him being the actual killer.
Castle goes back home.
More chitchat with family.
During the chitchat, he realizes something.
He goes to Kate, who also has realized the same thing during her own alone time.
They both say I know who the killer is in sync. Or some variant of it.
They go to the least suspected individual in the story. Kate tells the story on how he/she had comitted the murder. Most of the time the person would just give in and admit to the murder.
Case solved.

In 50% of the episodes... Alexes would have her own cutesy (but painfully annoying) story. Sometimes she would do something bad but in the end would realize her mistake and would apologize to Castle. In almost all cases she turns out to be the obnoxious perfect daughter that you would love to have but it is never going to happen in real life.

It is also impressive that three years have gone by and Castle and Kate are still flirting with each other all the freaking time but would still not get their shit right. I mean seriously? I have not read about the seasons 4/5/6 so I am not sure where the story stands today. But it's annoying really. The whole thing between Kate and Rick and of course the super perfect Alexes. I would not place it high on my list of favorite shows.

Season 5 now and I had no idea that the couple version of Castle and Beckett would be more annoying than the wooing version.

lol. if i had not seen castle in one long marathon, i think i would have found a bunch of episodes awful as well. i am guessing castle did not die in the crash? :D have not seen it yet. was hoping to wait for the entire season but i guess that would not work out well.

grrr. i am used to finishing off unsolved mysteries. this one episode per week is not going to be fun. in any case, no one came up with the logic that castle was forced by his kidnappers to drop the money there. sure they said that he did not look tense and was doing it willfully or whatever. lame episode.
