I just saw an ad for a channel called FX being a part of YOU SCOD18 DTH line up. This apparently airs Californication, a popular Showtime American TV series, which contains gratuitous amount of nudity in it. I haven't availed of any DTH service yet, so just wanted to know if any of these foreign channels air these programs unedited or as usual we get the censor cut version? Are there any DTH providers who air a lot of foreign movie channels? I have been to my cousin's place in Andheri (Lokhanwala area) and their cable operator's DTH facility gives a superb array of foreign channels. I haven't seen any such channels being in the catalog of big DTH players like Airtel, Reliance and the likes. Why is that so?

DTH is regulated by the government. they cannot simply regulate every cable operator out there who is able to deliver illegal feeds.

Meaning, these independent cable operators aren't subjected to the censorship rules?

they are. but there is no one to keep an eye on 'all of them'.

Ya its been going on for years now.Very few people admit it. Cable operator's own way of keep up their subscription.
