Change of Plan

Friends please help me out with this...i had a Home 500 plan...i wanted to change to the startup 250 plan...i submitted the letter requesting change to the telephone exchange on 26th of feb...the concerned officer said that letters received within 25th only would lead to change from the following month...this meant that the plan would be changed from April , not March...however when i visited bbservice.bsnl.in for checking my usage i just casually happened to view My Orders..it showed a change of plan to startup 250 and the Status showed "PROVISIONED"...now what does this imply..i download a lot of big files during the night time (2-8, free time)..i dont want to end up paying 5000 rupees at the end of the month... So please tell me whether the plan has been changed to 250 or is it still 500..

this meas your plan-change is implemented & you are in startup 250.

yes bbservice does provide authentic information so if it mentions a plan as provisioned then it means that the plan is active

thanks netant and cyberwiz...but the damage has already been done...these bsnl guys are such idiots..the commercial officer told me that since the letter had been accepted on 26/2 the change would be effective from april...i believed him and downloaded 3 gb of data...now i discovered that my plan had been changed....is there any way out of this people...please help...i dont want to pay 2000 bucks just for this stupidity...
